Today`s climb of Cerro Monserrate came with some interestnig pictures.

A mediados de Diciembre volvi a hacer el tradicional recorrido del Cerro monserrate,
una colina de 600 metros de altura, muy empinada. Getting frm my house to the top of Monserrate takes
about 1 hour and it is a really nice walk. Here`s some pics!

There are 2 restaurants and a very famous religious site. People often climb the mountain in
penitence (on their knees, shoeless, etc)

Looking to the east, after climbing the mountain, a marvelous Andean
landscape appears, that is only 10 minutes by car from downtown Bogota!!!
